Rosalind, Paul, and Me in a State Called Bliss: Toy-in-the-Frame Thursday

Mom: "I was so shocked that you were able to come to see Paul McCartney!"

Rosalind: "I was so lucky! When your friend Karen called after you had left and told me she had an extra ticket, I was so happy. I would have been so frustrated if I had been home thinking 'Paul's concert is right down the street but I'm stuck at home.'"

Mom: "And wasn't it great that those of us in the first 6 rows got to go to a reception and dinner for free before the soundcheck?"

Rosalind: "I never knew that we would hear Paul and the band rehearse for about an hour!"

Mom: "What was your favorite part of the whole experience?"

Rosalind: "Everything: I mean a 3 hour concert and Paul never took a break! I got to hear some of my favorite songs like "Lady Madonna" and I love his tribute to John and when he
sang "Something" as a tribute to George. Plus, when all the confetti-like paper rained down at the end of the show."

Mom: "Yes, so many great songs; I bet Paul never knew he would still sing "I Saw Her Standing There" more than 50 years after he and John wrote it."

Rosalind: "I also liked the screens to the left and right of the stage with so many pictures of the Beatles and even a picture of John and Yoko."

Mom: "And everyone was so nice; everyone was in a state of..."

Rosalind: "Bliss! That's what it was; bliss..."
