the Blue Train - a photo on Flickriver

the Blue Train

            When in downtown Seattle you may notice a strange rail over your head if you head down Fifth.  The Monorail was built for the Century 21 Worlds Fair in 1962 and still operates today with it's 'fleet' of two.  Here it passes through the massive MoPop (formerly EMP) which was built around the rail.  2 million people still ride this thing to take them to the downtown shopping about one mile away.  :-)
