Vue aérienne de l’entrée de la pagode Linh Mu, avec le portique au bord de la Rivière de Parfums, la tour Phuc Duyen, de la source du Bonheur, La pagode Thien Mu, de la » Vieille Dame Céleste » est la plus ancienne pagode de Hué puisqu’un premier temple bouddhique y fut construit par Nguyên Hoang, ancêtre de la dynastie des Nguyên. Ce prince avait eu, à cet endroit, l’apparition d’une vieille femme qui lui souhaita l’établissement d’une dynastie florissante. Ce premier temple fut considérablement amélioré et agrandi par les souverains successifs de la dynastie. La tour Phuoc Duyên, de » la source du bonheur « , improprement appelée « Tour de Confucius », fut construite par l’empereur Thieu Tri en 1844. C’est une tour octogonale dont les sept étages rappellent les sept bouddha de l’antiquité. Sur la pagode Linh Mu à Hué, voir AP0030.
