Walking On Trolls Land

Three days later....

Driving back from Jokulsarlon to Kirkjufell mountain (that I finally canceled in the late afternoon), I had been amazed by Iceland unpredictable weather. I had to remove Fjallsarlon from the list because there was a blizzard, then Svartifoss (it was on the top of my list) because it was raining then when I reached Vik, the rain was grappling against the mist. Plus, the wind seems to be forever there in all occasion (I've been told!).

To be honest, this is the only place from my visit where I didn't feel comfortable. I saw Reynisdrangar beach from Reynisfjara the previous day, I thought I would not go here. Perhaps it was because of its legend, the black rocks or because the word Reynisdrangar itself doesn't sound beautiful to my ears.
Wait! I found the Icelandic language is really beautiful and easy. It is just...sometimes... only by hearing the sound/pronunciation, you can feel something bad or good. That was the case on "Reynisdrangar" for me. Example; When you pronounce my name with your own accent DWI (with i, without the sound u or è
between d and w (like "dhwee") then you compare with dwi with y or "dwai" I think the first pronunciation is more beautiful. You don't believe me? You can try it in front of a mirror, I'm sure your lips will form a smile with dwi/dhwee than "dwai". :)

Anyway, back to this Reynisdrangar....

When I saw it from the top of Vik (hill) after shooting the church, I had a little bit of fate to make a quick visit to the troll rocks, although mist-rain-wind were still there.

This picture was ~~stitched from two~~ most crap images, I didn't have any beautiful shot from this place neither on the troll rocks.
