Sping terrace 2017 before

            Besides over 100 choice peonies,the terrace contains a plethora of spring flowers. Hardy and half hardy annuals with a few perennials. Sweet William, Wallflowers, forget me nots, black eye susan, nigella, iberis, shasta daisies, cleome, cosmos , Iris, Lychnis, artemesia, coreopsis, euphorbia, sedums, iceplant, phlox, fringed pinks, and others. A lot of this came from wildflower mixes I found at Dollar General!
The bulbs are a great mix of daffodil, snowflakes, starflower, mixed grape hyacinth, squill, star of Bethlehem.
And I am adding a fall border of Hardy ageratum, sedum spectabile, purple aster, goldenrod, artemesia in the new area with the nice black topsoil!
