Castillo de Turegano (Castilla-León)

            El castillo de Turégano, símbolo del pueblo, data de tiempos celtíberos. Una de las peculiaridades de este castillo, es que la Iglesia de San Miguel se encuentra integrada en su construcción.

En 1585 estuvo preso en este castillo Antonio Pérez, secretario del rey Felipe II. Sus partidarios planearon su fuga, y para ello se establecieron en el cercano pueblo de Muñoveros. Estos consiguieron entrar en el castillo, pero la astucia del alcalde les convenció para que desistieran de su intento.

Actualmente, está considerada como BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural) (fue declarado Monumento histórico-artístico perteneciente al Tesoro Artístico Nacional mediante decreto de 3 de junio de 193
