            Saxon & I competed in our first Nose Work trial yesterday, the first one to be held in Victoria (Australia).
Saxon did fine, but I failed him on the "exterior" element so we didn't get a pass. He did great in the other 3 elements, vehicle, interior & containers.

I am so pissed with myself because I called the "alert" too early for his "exterior" if only I had given him more of a chance, we had at least another 50 secs on the clock, I don't know what I was thinking!
At least we weren't the only ones to struggle, only 7 of the 32 competing passed!
But I did wake up at 3:30 this morning wishing I could take back the time :-(
Anyway, so we have to keep training & try again whenever the next one comes along (they are so few & far between).

The photo? Just Saxon modelling on a bench on one of our local street walks early last month, we do enjoy the wide tree-lined paths :-)
