Leader of the Pack_8107 - a photo on Flickriver

            The 2012 Pride Festival reflected much of the diversity of the Sacramento community.  Several religious, non-profits and local business groups participated in the parade which shows they support the LGBT community.  Many of these same groups had a booth at the festival portion of this event.    The parade was not as colorful or lively as the SF Pride Parade I have attended in recent past years.  Sacramento for that matter is not as lively or colorful as SF.  The attendees at the Sacramento event seem to be more open and friendlier to talk to strangers.
