Every year in October there are many doll and bearmakers in Rotterdam to show their handmade dolls and bears. The Ahoy fair is a public fair that is always very well attended. Most of the visitors come from the Netherlands, but the fair also attracts visitors from all over the world, with people coming all the way from Japan, America and Australia among other places. The doll and teddy bear makers who take part in the fair come mainly from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England. 
The next 19th International Doll- and Teddy Bear Fair at Ahoy Rotterdam is on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 october 2009.

De maan en zijn liefje
Ieder jaar in oktober trekken veel poppen- en berenmakers naar Rotterdam om hun handgemaakte poppen en beren te showen en te verkopen. De beurs in Ahoy is een publieke beurs. De meeste bezoekers komen uit Nederland en België, maar er zijn ook bezoekers uit Duitsland en Engeland, zelfs uit Japan, Verenigde Staten en Australië. De poppen- en berenmakers zijn vooral uit Nederland, België, Duitsland en Engeland, maar ook uit verre landen.
De volgende, de 19e, internationale poppen- en berenbeurs in Ahoy Rotterdam wordt op vrijdag 23 en zaterdag 24 oktober 2009 gehouden.
