66 042 on Campbell's Curve, Enterkinfoot.

            66 042 is seen just north of Enterkinfoot on Campbell's Curve with southbound MGR coal train 6E85 the 05.00 Hunterston High Level to Drax Power Station. The rear of the train has just left Lime Cleuch conifer plantation and come into the open high on the valleys east side above the River Nith. The location Campbell's Curve takes its name from a freight train derailment here many years ago when a number of box vans left the track scattering tins of Campbell's soup down the steep hillside.
66 042 was an early recipient of a nameplate. It was named 'Lafarge Buddon Wood' without ceremony at Toton in July 2003 but the plates were removed again in February 2007 as the following month saw it leave the UK for use with ECR (Euro Cargo Rail) in France and is now based at Alizay.
