Based on an Oldsmobile Tornado two door Coupe, the conversion is by AQC (American Quality Coach) formed by Waldo J Cotner and Robert Bevington and built as an airport transfer limousine. The Jetaway 7.07 was their only model produced before the company ran out of money in 1970.The first vehicle in the series was commissioned by Avis car rental working out of New York's JFK Airport. This may be the same car (AHO 273 V) that was used in Edinburgh by the house band of Fat Sams Restraunt, Fountainbridge (closed 2000) then painted light blue. If was later sold at auction in the RAF Museum, Hendon in 1995, returning to the States, it was repainted. One can be glimpsed in the film All the Presidents Men.
The known history of this car is that it was originally built for a hotel in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and was imported into England in 1979. Aquired by the present owner in 2010.
It is a 15 seater with 8 doors and is 28 feet long
