Magical Places and Things - The Mekong (3)

            The days are brutally hot and humid on the Mekong. Along the way from Saigon to Siem Reap, we would stop at little villages and hilltop religious sites, often seeing very out of the way sights. 

In the evening there were quiet moments when the air was cooling down somewhat, but then one had to hurry into a cabin quickly before being attacked by hoards of insects. This is one of the gentle sunsets I saw along the way.
