WIP Ninjago Fusion - Color Change - a photo on Flickriver

TLG really seems to be invested in the Ninjago franchise this year. New sets are due in the coming months, but how will LEGO keep the franchise going?

I thought that a line of 'fusion' characters would be interesting. The concept in a nut shell is the four basic Ninja could combine to form new characters. The pic above would be the fusion of 'earth' and 'water' to produce some sort of 'wood/plant' based elemental ninja.

The color change was very simple using a Kai minifigure. It only involved two layers, the top most filled in with a Peeron coded green. That layer was designated a 'hue' layer (this is in GIMP), and the transparency was increased. Viola!

Didn't get much time to play with badges but will likely Inkscape something that looks like a tree or leaf.
