Saint Columba Episcopal Church--Detroit MI

            Saint Columba began as a mission of Old Christ Church in 1913. It became an Episcopal parish in 1917. The church, in the English Gothic Revival style, designed by noted local architect Lancelot Sukert (he also designed Saint Columba Parish House on Jefferson Avenue,  Boulevard Congregational Church and the Scarab Club), was dedicated in 1928.  Saint Columba closed in 2003.

A member of the church's building committee (Lewis E. Maire) has a school in Grosse Pointe named after him.

The church building is now owned by another congregation, Detroit Faith Center..
