~Bye bye, birdies...fly safe!~ - a photo on Flickriver

            Well, early this morning, my little birdies fledged. I went out at 7 am with coffee to check things out.  (they say the early bird gets the worm..ha ha). I was surprised that Mama was on the ground with two babies and there were two more in the house. Papa was excited on the fence...flapping his wings. Fly, babies, fly! I ran in to get my camera, and this was the only shot I got. My battery died. (Note to self, make sure your battery is charged). I didn't run to get my cell because I didn't want to miss it. So...the photos are in my mind and what a wonderful experience! I can still hear them in the far corner of my neighbor's yard.... Chriping babies and mama and papa. I will miss them.  It's so quiet. I hope the wrens return next spring.
