            I flew To New Orleans earlier this year to shoot with my friend Kate Miller, a multifaceted artist and performer. We stayed in the historic French Quarter, and I photographed her here in her guest room. Later that night while trading our personal ghost stories, she told me how she and her husband had been hearing strange sounds coming from these walls and had felt a presence they couldn't explain. It didn't come as much of a surprise to me, as the city is just teeming with different energies and stories. At the risk of sounding annoying, I feel like I'm pretty perceptive to paranormal stuff like that. Or maybe I'm just afraid of the dark and everything scares me.
