Propped up by sunbeams? - a photo on Flickriver

Much better On Black

Driving up the hill, round a corner, the sunbeams caught my attention, and then the light at the end of the tunnel. But I couldn't stop to snap. At the top of the hill I turned, drove to the bottom, parked and climbed the hill, camera clicking away.

This tree is an old favourite of mine, and we've been afraid that a high wind would bring it down. High lorries keep it pruned.

I've tried all sorts of crops, but am initially posting the shot as taken.

Unfortunately this tree, among others, has now been cut down by Health and Safety. I miss it.
