La Torre de Balansat o des Molar está situada entre la Punta de sa Creu y el Port de Sant Miquel, en lo alto de un acantilado, a 95 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Desde su base, se divisa una panorámica excepcional de S’Illa des Bosc y S’Illa Murada y, algo más alejados, el propio puerto de Sant Miquel y la costa de Benirràs.
