The doorway to secrets - a photo on Flickriver

The door was inviting. Partly because it was slightly ajar, partly because there was another world behind it. The winter sun created shadows that played tricks on ones mind. As fingers brushed against the wood, the peeling paint stuck to the skin. Leaving small blue specks that would stay on for hours.
