Gyeongbokgung

Gyeongbokgung was the main and largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. The palace was originally constructed in 1394 by King Taejo but was burnt, demolished and reconstructed several times over its lifetime. It is still undergoing some restoration work. #178 on Explore Seoul, Korea 2008 Arjun Purkayastha • travel & fine art photography •
