6 million Flickr views from 16th August 2007 to 23rd May 2014

Tonight 23rd May 2014 my photostream passed the 6 Million View milestone.
I joined Flickr on around 26th October 2006 but did not post any images until 16th August 2007.
On the 30th November 2013 total views ticked over the 4 Million mark. (9,336 public images posted to that date)
On the 18th February 2014 total views passed the 5 million mark. (10,246 public images)
On the 23rd May 2014 total views passed the 6 Million mark, (10,550 public images)

Thanks to all who visit my photostream, particularly to those who take the time to comment, I do try to reciprocate and to respond when questions are raised in comments.

I will take this opportunity to make the case for the reintroduction of 'NOTES' functionality which was taken away last year and not yet reinstated despite promises from Flickr. But as we have learned promises in this world today can be broken without shame.
The shift enter thing is a pain as I am sure many people agree.
Why take away the ability to edit titles descriptions and tags from the sidebar drop down menu. The argument that it is redundant functionality does not stack up. It is such a nuisance having to go into Organizer to copy tags from previous images.
The group invite system is badly broken and invitations should be re-instated in the actual photo comments. This is another area considered by Flickr to be redundant but it clearly is essential to administrators of groups as invited images can quickly slip out of sight in recent activity notification.
I have become used to the black on white text and the new photo page presentation, but I would much prefer a return to the old page with comments underneath the photo.
Additionally, we have lost a lot of other functionality in this new page roll out, and loud and long protesting appears deaf to the ears of Flickr management.
