Moonlight Vista -- Part Deux - a photo on Flickriver

            Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year for photography. Color abounds. Each year I plan a few photography trips for this time, and the past few years I've scheduled extended trips down to the Columbia River Gorge--a photographic feast anytime of year, but especially in autumn and spring.

Here's a shot from last year's trip down there. This is the Vista House illuminated solely by moonlight. While the moon was plenty bright to illuminate this gorgeous building, it's dim enough to allow the exposure time to be long enough to bring out the stars in the background.

Looking forward to heading back down here again this year.
