106/365 Freelensing - a photo on Flickriver

WHOAH! Explored Front Page (#3)!?!?!? It has only been 2 hours since I uploaded this. wow. But thanks for viewing :D This means a lot to me :)

Day 106

You may notice that i didn't use the Leica M9 today, mostly because I went on a Freelensing craze tonight. I had a blast doing this, because bokeh is irresistible (as always). This method of tilt-shift is closer to that of an actual tilt-shift lens, as opposed to Photoshop faux-tilt-shifting. Anyways, here is my inspiration, I highly recommend you check out their awesome streams:

Freelensing:
Usually works best with a full frame lens on an APS-C camera body. Detach the lens and tilt for focus. Since it was raining and the wind was rather strong, I think I gave my camera an unhealthy dose of dust :P By the way, I used my 50mm ƒ/1.8 on my Canon 500D, since EXIF got destroyed by taking off the lens.

Ohoh! Finished exams! Happy first day of Winter Break! :D (for us at least)
