Karpuzkaldıran Waterfalls Karpuzkaldıran Waterfalls
Karpuzkaldıran Waterfalls

Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The waterfall, formed by the Düden River (one of the major rivers in southern Anatolia), is located 12 km north-east of Antalya; which ends, where the limpid waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea in a dazzling show. Lower Düden waterfall (named also: Karpuzkaldıran waterfall) This waterfall is the highest as it is approx. 30 meters high and the water gushes down onto the massive rocks with great force. This waterfall is located in Antalya, near Lara, and can be reached with the old coast street as well. ***************************************************************************** As you can see I have been busy and still taking photos..we took a day out to re-visit these falls..I have only seen them twice by boat but years ago.. The reason I joined flickr over a year ago was to share the lovely photos from my area..so once again I do apologize for my absence to flickr and hopefully over the winter months I can spend more time..but again love to share these nature and historical photos with everyone.. Do not feel obilagated to comment or invite..just enjoy !!!
