Wind Scorpion/Camel Spider/Sun Spider - Solifugae

So a funny thing happened last night. I saw the largest wind scorpion that I've ever seen here in South Texas. He was at least four inches long. At first, I thought it was a big wolf spider. If you've ever seen these things, then you know, they NEVER STOP MOVING and have been the toughest bug I've ever encountered trying to photo (maybe tied with a tiger beetle). Well I walk up to this thing camera in hand and I stand there waiting for it to either catch a bug or get tired (yea right). Then I mumble to myself, "Damn bug, sit still for a minute". Almost instantly, he stops in his tracks :) Then I get down and snap off about 8 photos, stand up laughing and say, "Thanks". Within 10 seconds, he's back to psycho bug again zig zaggin all over the place.
