Assynt - Who possesses this landscape?

            I made these images in April 2012 on a wonderful snowy day spent up the hill with my dad and his friend the photographer Andy Hall. It was a cracking day, one of the best I've had in the mountains. For some reason never got round to stitching the panorama together and today for my 500th Flickr post I decided I'd do it. 

This is the view from the dimunuative Stac Pollaidh of the mountains Quinag, Suilven, Canisp, Cul Mor and Cul Beag . For me it typifies the wild Assynt landscape so beloved of the poet Norman McCaig.
