            A quick word of thanks to anyone and everyone who has taken time to view, fave or comment on my shots this last year, it's greatly appreciated. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and wish you and your loved ones health and happiness - if you have those two, little else matters. And if by chance that involves you capturing that 'once in a lifetime' shot, well even better!

Sorry I couldn't find anything more contemporary, despite the recent snows, but this one just sums up the time of year for me. For the record it's Colas Tug 60076 steadying the early running 08.55 Preston Docks Lanfina - Lindsey tanks (6E32) down the grade through Cornholme in the Calder Valley. The splendid Frosthulme Mill is on the left.
