Bald Eagle - a photo on Flickriver

Bald Eagle

            I went back for a second try at the eagle that frequents the Plainsboro Preserve. I was taking a shot of a female tree swallow when this eagle flew right over my head! It was a rush and although I wish I was using a faster shutter speed at the time, I'm just glad my autofocus picked the eagle up in time. Soon after, the eagle went straight for an osprey who had just caught a fish. I would have never thought this was going on in my area.
