MAX on a rainy night - Portland, OR - a photo on Flickriver

            Rain continues to fall upon festively-decorated downtown Portland on the evening of New Year's Day as patrons prepare to board a Hillsboro-bound train at Mall/SW 5th Avenue Station. Following its Blue Line sister a couple blocks to the east is a westbound Red Line train, its headlights casting a block-long shadow from the pedestrian crossing the street. The yellow sign half-hidden by the light pole marks the Northwest's only BW3, a Midwest institution that I dearly miss (the Buffalo Chips are so wonderful!).
