Nikon F100 / Nikkor 85mm ~ 1/2000th * f/1.4 * Ilford Delta 100 / Epson V700 ~ B / FR The morning after a (drinking) chess game with Michelle. Inspired by an image from my friend Yan and his new medium format camera. This was the last shot on the roll (#37), it sometimes goes to 37, even went up to 39 once, but rarely that high so I was still a little lucky I got this. A lot of my shots so far using this lens have been taken wide open (@f/1.4) and this is no exception. I have been as impressed by it's optical quality wide open as I have with the depth of field itself! I am not regretting getting this lens one bit, it's quickly becoming my favorite =). It will probably encourage my desire for the new Nikon D3 too, since with full frame shots like this I can see it's edge performance is stunning as well! Note: I have now rescanned this (properly, rather than the stupid Epson 'thumbnail' option) to get the full frame in. You can now see the tap in the lower left corner through the blur of the wall... it looks almost fake, even to me =). See Large / On Black here.
