Honey Bear - Demodex ( Demodex genus )

I just went to the vet with my friend Reagan Pasternak after capturing a pregnant feral cat.

Of course my two vet tech-angels Stephanie Babcock and Melissa Bento came to help us out with the cat.

When they were done testing the cat for FIV/FeLV (both negative), they told us about a really nice woman, Poppi Monroe, who found this English Bulldog yesterday, in downtown Los Angeles.

I followed Melissa to the isolation room, and I had to take a picture of this dog so I can help her. As you can see, this puppy is in really bad shape. (she has a really bad case of mange + a bad eye infection).

So many people must have walked by this dog and did nothing... it really makes me sick.

Thank you so much Poppi (and please thank your husband too) for saving her life, and bringing her to the vet.

UPDATE: Honey-Bear went home with Poppi today where she will recover completely. Honey Bear feels better, and I think that with a home environment and continuous medical treatment she will bounce back, and will become an awesome dog.
