(266/16) La ermita de Auñón - a photo on Flickriver

El edificio de la ermita fue construido a comienzos delsigloXVII,lo mismoquelos edificios circundantes; formada por casa de santero, albergues, patio anterior, con fuentes y arboledas.
El interior de la ermita es de grandes proporciones, conretablo barroco y camarín en el que se asienta la imagen de la patrona.
La aparición de la virgen data de los años de la reconquista en tiempos del rey Alfonso VI, cuando un pastor encontró una talla de la virgen en un madroño, edificándose la ermita en el lugar exacto de la aparición. La ermita de Nuestra Señora del Madroñal está situada en un lugarprivilegiado.

The building of the chapel was built in the early seventeenth century, like the surrounding buildings; Santero formed by house, lodging, front courtyard with fountains and trees.
The interior of the chapel is of great proportions, with baroque altarpiece and dressing room in which the image of the patron is seated.
The appearance of the virgin dates from the years of the reconquest in the time of King Alfonso VI, when a shepherd found a statue of the Virgin in a strawberry tree, they built the chapel in the exact spot of the apparition. The hermitage of Nuestra Señora del Madroñal is located in a place privileged.
