Old World, Meet New World - a photo on Flickriver

            Just for Lacey and her toad fetish ;)  It's my European green toad, Bufo viridis (left), and my Woodhouse's toad, Bufo (Anaxyrus) woodhousii (right).  Europe being part of the Old World, and the North American woodhouse's toad being from the New World.

It was actually very difficult to get a shot where they were both in focus and both sitting still.  Granted, this didn't turn out as crisp as I had wanted, but I'll take what I can get.  You can also make out the motion blur on their throats from their breathing.
