En el recinto feliz - a photo on Flickriver

            Cusicancha, (cuya traducción es "recinto feliz"),  en la esquina de Santo Domingo y Romeritos., el Cusco, Perú. Forma parte de Pucamarca que es  la gran manzana que encierran las calles Maruri, Pampa del Castillo, Plazoleta de Santo Domingo y Romeritos.
En este recinto, probablemente, se preparaban las actividades complementarias que necesitaba el Templo del Sol o Koricancha, ubicado en sus proximidades. De unos cuatro mil metros cuadrados de extensión, en el Cusicancha se encuentran restos arquitectónicos de las épocas preínca, inca, colonial y republicana y se supone que es lugar de nacimiento del Inca En este recinto, probablemente, se preparaban las actividades complementarias que necesitaba el Templo del Sol o Koricancha, ubicado en sus proximidades. De unos cuatro mil metros cuadrados de extensión, en el Cusicancha se encuentran restos arquitectónicos de las épocas preinca, inca, colonial y republicana.  Se supone además que en estew lugar nació el Inca Tupac Yupanqui.
