Barcelona Cathedral, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain 29/10/2013

            A fascinating city with so much to enjoy, and a myriad of places to explore.

This is "La Catedral de Barcelona", much less photographed than the Sagrada Família, but no less impressive in my opinion.

The proper name for this place of worship is "Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia". Amazingly this building was constructed between the 13th and 15th century. Today it stands as a very much loved building, visited by millions of tourists and used regularly by local people.
