Frederick Riddle's Ranch house - a photo on Flickriver

The Riddle brothers lived on their ranch on the southwest flank of Steens Mountain for 50 years until the 1950s. Initially, they sold horses to the army.

Today the ranch is a historic distric maintained by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The building in the back is the barn and the buildings in the middle are the work sheds.
