Weatherwolde Castle, Tujunga, CA - a photo on Flickriver

Weatherwolde Castle in Tujunga is #841 on the Los Angeles Department of City Planning's Historic Cultural Monuments list. According to a Los Angeles Times article by Cecelia Rasmussen, Weatherwolde Castle, built in 1928 by George J. Fosdyke, was very nearly was torn down in 2005. In 2006, the castle was finally designated a Historic Cultural Monument by the Office of Historic Resources.
