After a long slow decline, my mother passed away last Saturday.

Since then I've been looking through old photos of her - the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s.....right up to today.

She met my dad when they were only seven and so it's very hard on him.

For me I will remember that she was always smiling, always positive - hardly ever a cross word.

Everyone's mother is the best in the world - but I think she had a real claim on that title.

Will miss her very much
