The Tamar Bridges. - a photo on Flickriver

The Tamar Bridges.

            I went down to the river this morning in search of mist, with looming bridges and mastheads peering through, "Pah!"
 
Nevertheless I hung on and, as the tide turned, the wind momentarily dropped and I was presented with this view of the Tamar as calm as I've ever seen it, with the Royal Albert and Tamar bridges reflected nicely in the smooth surface. In the ten seconds it took me to scramble up the bank for a higher viewpoint the wind had returned, the surface was a mass of ripples once again and the reflections all but gone.

Lurking about and drinking tea comes up trumps, again.
