blockbuster / e-crane - a photo on Flickriver

The 'Blockbuster" is a gigantic crane designed to build a sea barrier of 40 ton concrete blocks as part of the extension of the Port of Rotterdam (Maasvlakte 2). The size of these blocks is 2.5 meter (8.2'). The Blockbuster first places a layer of smaller rocks. It has a 40 meter reach.
