Hubble Space Telescope Crossing the Milky Way- Take 2!

            So last fall I learned that you can see HST with the naked eye.  At mag. +3 or +4, it's not nearly as bright as ISS or the shuttle, but it's still pretty cool for the astronomy nut.  And thus it became my quest to photograph it passing in front of the Milky Way...

...which it doesn't do all that often.  And the few nights it did it were either clouded out or the moon was nearby.  Until last weekend!  The first shot (below) was ok, but I saw it late and missed it crossing the MW itself.  For this shot (the next night) I was ready with binoculars and a longer shutter speed- huge success!

Like I said, it's pretty cool for the astro-nut.
