Breathtaking Amaryllis At Long Island New York Home - IMRAN™

            I had bought a small potted bulb from a home improvement store in Patchogue, NY, several years ago. It bloomed into a gorgeous pair of flowers which I loved seeing bloom. Eventually their short life was over. But I kept the bulb alive despite sometimes being away months at a time. A couple of recent years I completely missed the flowers as their mid-spring bloom time coincided with time I love being in Florida. But, as I rushed back and forth between Apollo Beach, Manhattan and Patchogue, I made it home to pack for a longer trip but was able to capture not two or four but eight of these beauties in bloom. This is an indoor iPhone X photo with direct sunlight on the flowers, and the background vignetted out. Such breathtakingly beautiful colors and textures.
