Blandy-les-Tours, Seine et Marne (France)

The site of Blandy is inhabited since prehistoric times and grew in ancient times. Blandy is a name of Gallo-Roman origin, changing to Blanzicum in 832, Blanzi in 1209, Blandiacum in 1212 and finally Blandius. Blandy's story is associated with his castle, that I will show on a later date), mentioned for the first time in 1206. The village is mainly agricultural. Louis Michelin in 1843 noted in his historical essays and statistics: grain, hay, wine and wood. The castle developed tourism strongly in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
