Jacob's Ladder - Polemonium - a photo on Flickriver

            Part of the ABC challenge, There has been a little discussion in some of the flower groups about how difficult it is to identify plants without seeing the whole plant, Photographers usually just concentrate on the flower or fruit, or sometimes a leaf. I find it very difficult to turn a full plant like this into an interesting photograph, but for documentary purposes it is fine. There are a wide variety of  Polemonium cultivars.
