The Crowns Mine,Botallack,Cornwall - a photo on Flickriver

            The Crowns Mine is in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.It is part of the Devon and Cornwall Mining World Herritage Site.The Mine is on the cliffs between Botallack and Levant Mines.It is perched on a ledge 50ft above The Celtic Sea.There is nothing to The North of this but 1000’s of miles of sea and ice before you reach The North Pole.To The West, 4000 miles of the Atlantic Ocean before you reach Newfoundland.It is very exposed and the sea can get very rough here.
