Almagro ( Ciudad Real ) - a photo on Flickriver

            En el centro del casco antiguo. planta rectangular, irregular, formada por dos flancos con soportales de columnas de orden toscano en piedra bajo dos galerías corridas, en origen de carácter público y abiertas al exterior, y actualmente cerradas por un acristalamiento de estilo centroeuropeo que la hace única en España. Situada en la confluencia de las principales vías de comunicación.
Estas galerías servían de tribunas para actos públicos, festivos y religiosos, como las famosas corridas de toros que se realizaron hasta 1785, en que fueron prohibidas por Carlos III. A ellas se accedía por dos escaleras situadas en la Calle del Toril y en el Callejón del Villar, y por algunas pequeñas puertas de los soportales.

Situé au confluent des routes principales.
Ces galeries ont servi de tribunes pour les événements publics, festifs et religieux, comme les célèbres corridas ont eu lieu jusqu'en 1785, quand ils ont été interdits par Carlos III. Pour eux, il est accessible par deux escaliers situés sur la Calle del Toril et Villar Alley, et quelques petites portes des arcades.

In the center of the old town.
