Dendrobium nobile var virginalis 2006-03-14 01

            A very common, beginners orchid which is very cold tolerant but needs to be kept dryer over winter to ensure it flowers in spring.  This is a lovely white form of the species which comes from Nepal and Southern China across to Thailand and Vietnam.
