Master of his domain - a photo on Flickriver

            We were fortunate enough to see another herd of Roosevelt Elk on our way home.
These Elk were just off Highway 101 (along with 50+ people capturing photos) about a mile North of Berry Glen California.
There was only one Bull in this herd and he was somewhat anxious to round up the cows and calf's and keep the spikes separated, there was no doubt that he was in rut and did not want to be disturbed.
I quickly snapped off about 100 shots and cleared out and sadly headed back home.
