Ti and Snacks - a photo on Flickriver

Ti and Snacks

That's the stem of a red Hawaiian Ti plant providing a colorful spot for a small snack.

I'd expect the geckos to spend very little time on these complementary-colored plants like red Ti and Red Sealing Wax, but they almost seem to like the way it makes them stand out. Maybe if we had more gecko predators, this behavior would be selected out of the population.

Sorry for the punning title -- nj_dodge and others have been a bad influence on me ;-)
