Well... it's always good to get away but it's often nice to be back home... but definitely had a great trip to Northern BC and Southern Alaska. Now just processing the 185Gb of photos so I can post some of them.

I would like to thanks Flickr Contacts zpaperboyz, Rayzlens, and Gander178 for all their help and information on the Prince Rupert area and their suggestions for shooting locations. Was very helpful and greatly appreciated for the couple of days spent in that area. Check out their photostreams for some great shots of Northern BC and it's wildlife.

This shot was taken just east of Prince Rupert looking southwest towards Port Edward. One of those few times when you get still waters, a great sunset, and a nice moon reflection on the water. The unfortunate part about using a wide angle lense for shots like these is that it compresses things and the moon ends up being much smaller on film than it would be looking at it with the naked eye. I did like the way the smaller aperture made the moon into a starbeam though.
